The Gift of God’s Presence
God is with us in our struggles. (Matthew 1:23)
God sent Jesus so that we would never have to face struggles alone. (Psalm 46:1) God didn’t just send us a Savior, He sent someone who would walk through human struggles and fully understand what we feel. (Hebrews 4:15)
God is with us as our Guide.
In times of confusion, God’s presence offers us direction and wisdom. The Holy Spirit and God’s people will always align with God’s Word. (Psalm 32:8, NIV; James 1:5, NIV)
God is with us in our relationships.
- In marriage. (Genesis 2:24, NIV)
- In daily life and friendships. (Matthew 18:20, NIV)
- In reconciliation and peace. (Ephesians 2:14, NIV)
- In making relationships permanent. (1 Corinthians 13:8, NIV; Psalm 127:1, NIV)
God is with us in our purpose.
God’s presence is not only with us in our purpose but also gives us a purpose. (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV) Our purpose in Him provides us with identity, direction, and the promise of impact that goes beyond our own lives.
