What battle have you been avoiding? What’s caused you the greatest fear in 2024? The problems (giants) don’t just go away, we have to fight them, face them, and finish them. Stop running from the giants and start running towards them.
Things we might not know why.
The children of Israel were doing everything they could to avoid what looked like the greatest battle. They went around instead of straight through. We all have battles we are not fighting because we keep looking at how big they are instead of how powerful and great God is. How to face your giant:
- Ask God to make you aware of it.
- Admit it.
- Tell God you’re ready to face it, fight it, and finish it.
- Ask God for wisdom and insights on how to face it, fight it, and finish it.
- As you are planning and waiting:
- Set a date you will begin to fight.
- Find promise, meet the conditions of the promise, and believe God will send the provisions.
Give God the glory when you have the victory. (Deuteronomy 20:4, NIV; Isaiah 41:10, NIV; 2 Chronicles 20:15, NKJV)
