The Dark Side in Us
Beware of fake friendships. (Matthew 26:6-13, NKJV; Revelation 3:20, NKJV)
We give to what we love and we love what we give to. We love when others give to what we love.
What is it that you really love and value and you have given to Jesus because you love Him more. The dark came to light when Judas began to choose jealousy over Jesus.
The dark side begins to show when we choose riches over relationships. The dark side comes to light when you start looking at religion as righteous instead of relationships. (Matthew 6:21, NKJV)
Judas and the woman left a legacy.
Judas’ legacy is that he was the one who betrayed Jesus. The woman’s legacy is that she was the one who loved Jesus. What kind of legacy do you want to leave? (1 Timothy 6:17-19, NKJV)
Judas did not really love Jesus.
He chose jealousy over Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 2:5, NKJV)
Jealousy causes us to do and say things we are sorry for; love causes us to do and say thing we are proud of. Jealousy brings bondage; love brings freedom.
Jealousy damages relationships; Love heals and builds relationships. Jealousy wants to take; love always wants to give. Jealousy is natural; love is supernatural.
Judas chose riches over relationship with Jesus.
