In the Midst of Suffering
We will all suffer. 2 Timothy 3:12, NKJV, MSG; John 16:33, NKJV
The truth is we will all suffer persecution, have trouble, and have tribulation. But Jesus said He will give us peace in the midst of our troubles, we will have victory, and we will overcome just like Job. If you’re in the midst of suffering, it will pass and you will overcome. John 16:33, NKJV; Psalm 27:13-14, NKJV
Job went through much suffering. Job 1:13-19, NKJV
In one day, Job lost his wealth, his family, and will lose more. Devotions help us prepare for devastation that we will all face. Matthew 7:24-27, NKJV
Job’s response in suffering. Job 1:20-22, NKJV
Job worshiped and blessed the Lord. The closer your fellowship and relationship with God, the faster you will turn to the Lord. The faster you turn to the Lord, the faster you allow God to comfort you. The faster you begin to ask, “What can I learn and how can I use it?” the faster you will begin to heal. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, NKJV
Some things you will not understand until you get to Heaven. Bad things do happen to good people. There are things going on in Heaven that we don’t understand here on earth. Job 1:6-9, NKJV
