The Truth About Relationship Problems

Welcome Jesus into Your Life. (Luke 10:38-42, NKJV)

Things happen when you allow Jesus into your life, home, and relationships. Every relationship has to start here. Problems will start when you do not welcome Jesus into your life.

Relationships take more than one person. (Luke 10:39-40, NKJV)

Just because you have three people in a relationship, one of them being Jesus, does not mean you won’t have problems. The problem always starts when one of the two gets distracted. When you are distracted it not only hurts your relationship and fellowship, it also leads to blaming the wrong person.

Wrong distractions often lead to believing the lie that Jesus does not care about your problems. When you are distracted instead of receiving what you really need from Jesus, you try to tell Jesus what you need. The reason for worries and problems is not everyone else, it’s the one thing you have allowed yourself to be distracted by. Spending time with Jesus before spending time with others is the one thing that will stop worries and stress.

Pray for Rain

Pray for Rain

James highlights the power of prayer through the example of Elijah. Elijah was a human just like us, yet when he prayed earnestly for no rain, there was no rain for three and a half years. When he prayed again, the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. Fervent, righteous prayer can have powerful results, demonstrating God’s ability to intervene through prayer.
