The Fantastic Future of Favor

Your Future in God’s hands. (Genesis 50:19-20, NCV)

When you are in God’s favor, so is your future. Anything that might happen to you, God uses for you not against you. Your future is only in the hands of God and no one can change it. (Psalm 27:13-14, NKJV)

Detours never mean God has deserted you. (Genesis 37:18-24, NCV)

Speaking your dreams out too loud too fast to others can cost you. Discomfort handled correctly builds character. God was working out Joseph’s future and favor beyond his wildest dreams. (Genesis 37:26-27, NCV)

Detours are for your good, desertion thoughts are from the devil. Whatever you are going through you can boldly say, “The Lord is my Helper, I will not fear. What can man do to me?” ((Hebrews 13:5-6, NKJV; Psalm 50:15, NKJV; Genesis 39:21, NKJV)

God has a fantastic future of favor for all. (Genesis 50:17-21, NKJV)

Joseph’s brothers did wrong, but they were still God’s children who had favor though they had not enjoyed it. Joseph knew as bad as it had been, God was in control of his life.

There’s the favor of God and there’s the fullness of the favor of God; Joseph was living in the fullness of the favor of God. Joseph not only forgave his brothers, but he provided for them. (Genesis 50:20-21, NKJV)

Pray for Rain

Pray for Rain

James highlights the power of prayer through the example of Elijah. Elijah was a human just like us, yet when he prayed earnestly for no rain, there was no rain for three and a half years. When he prayed again, the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. Fervent, righteous prayer can have powerful results, demonstrating God’s ability to intervene through prayer.

Self-centered desires are the main source of conflicts, arguments, and fractured relationships. These desires can be concealed and often spark disputes. Regular self-reflection is essential to recognize and address these selfish inclinations. It’s important to refrain from slander and gossip, as they have the power to either uplift or harm others.
