Loving God with All Your Heart, Soul, and Mind

Communication (Matthew 22:37-40,NKJV)

Forgive quickly and love freely. Love does not produce joy; only love communicated correctly produces joy.(Amos 3:3, NKJV)
Joy comes in a 2-step process:

  • It has to be communicated correctly.
  • It has to be received correctly.

People are consumed with themselves, not you. Learning to communicate better help cut down on confusion in every area of life.(1 Corinthians 14:33,NKJV) Better communication helps bring unity.(Psalm 133:1-2,NKJV)

Steps to have unity:

  • Have Jesus as your Savior.
  • Have the same goals.(Amos 3:3,NKJV)

Try to find things in common. It takes time to communicate correctly.

Cooperation (Galatians 5:19-21,22-23,NKJV)

The most important cooperation you can have is with God.(Matthew 11:28, NKJV) It takes corporation in every relationship. It takes two, but even better three, to have the right kind of corporation.(Ecclesiastes 4:12,NLT2) You need to cooperate with God.(Ephesians 2:10,AMP)

Dedication

Determination and dedication = gratification.

The secret to success is a small amount of consistency of the right thing over along period of time. Where do you need to be more consistent in?

Pray for Rain

Pray for Rain

James highlights the power of prayer through the example of Elijah. Elijah was a human just like us, yet when he prayed earnestly for no rain, there was no rain for three and a half years. When he prayed again, the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. Fervent, righteous prayer can have powerful results, demonstrating God’s ability to intervene through prayer.
