Giants or Grapes? What You See Shapes Your Victory

Realize God has already promised it to you.

God has already won the war, but you will have to fight the battle. (Exodus 3:8, NIV) When you get saved, God has promised you abundant life. (John 10:10,NKJV; 2 Corinthians 9:8,NIV) Salvation is free, but the abundant life has to be possessed. (Deuteronomy 1:8,NIV;Galatians 3:29,NIV)

How to possess the Promise Land (Abundant Life).(Numbers 13:17-23,NKJV)

After we are saved, we still have to go into the world. How we see the world will greatly determine how we respond to it. If you want to change what you do, change how you behave and what you believe. (Numbers 13:27-28,NKJV)

What we see and how we see it greatly determines our victory or defeats.(Numbers 13:30-33,NKJV) Who we listen to greatly determines our victory or defeats.

Quick and practical steps to the abundant life:

Accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. Believe and Know God’s promises.(Hebrews 11:6,NIV; 2 Peter 1:4,ESV) Obey the Word.(John 16:33,NKJV) Repent and forgive. (Acts 3:19,NIV; 2 Chronicles 7:14,NIV; Matthew 5:5,NCV)

Repentance is the act of turning away from sin and turning back to God, leading to forgiveness and renewal. We all need to do this if we want to maintain that intimate relationship with God and others. Repentance involves humbling ourselves. (Matthew 5:5,NCV

Pray for Rain

Pray for Rain

James highlights the power of prayer through the example of Elijah. Elijah was a human just like us, yet when he prayed earnestly for no rain, there was no rain for three and a half years. When he prayed again, the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. Fervent, righteous prayer can have powerful results, demonstrating God’s ability to intervene through prayer.
