From Overlooked to Anointed

I. God is watching when no one else is.(1 Samuel 16:10-11,NKJV)

II. God does the choosing and calling, while you do the living and loving God.

III. Live and love to please God, not man.(1 Thessalonians 2:4,CEV)

IV. The one you strive to please when no one is watching, when no one knows what you’re doing, reveals who you truly are.

Your character is what you do when no one but God sees you.

V. Don’t seek your fulfillment from the actions of others. Instead, find it in what God is doing and saying! (1 Samuel 16:12-13,NKJV)

VI. Don’t let you and your family miss all God is doing and trying to do in your life.(Mark 6:1-5,NIV)

When you take up an offense, it blinds you to the truth. Many times, God will work in a great way in your life, yet those closest to you will miss out on it.

VII. What your earthly father can’t give you, your heavenly Father can.(Psalm 27:10,CEV, NKJV)

If you look at anyone or anything other than God for approval, encouragement, comfort, or confidence, that is your god and you will be disappointed.

VIII. The difference between having God as your Father figure versus man as your father figure.

Confidence and courage come from God.

Pray for Rain

Pray for Rain

James highlights the power of prayer through the example of Elijah. Elijah was a human just like us, yet when he prayed earnestly for no rain, there was no rain for three and a half years. When he prayed again, the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. Fervent, righteous prayer can have powerful results, demonstrating God’s ability to intervene through prayer.

The Hidden Enemy: Selfish Desires and Their Consequences

The Hidden Enemy: Selfish Desires and Their Consequences

Self-centered desires are the main source of conflicts, arguments, and fractured relationships. These desires can be concealed and often spark disputes. Regular self-reflection is essential to recognize and address these selfish inclinations. It’s important to refrain from slander and gossip, as they have the power to either uplift or harm others. Additionally, recognizing and submitting to God’s authority over your plans is vital.

Faith Without Favoritism
