The Lost Coin – You are Not Forgotten
Found – The Stories Jesus Told
Jesus values what others overlook. (Luke 15:8-10, NIV; Matthew 6:10, NKJV)
In Jesus’ time, religious leaders didn’t spend a lot of time honoring women, but Jesus did. Jesus will be your husband, if you allow Him. (Isaiah 54:5, NIV) Jesus doesn’t just include women in His ministry – He lifts them up, shows how God sees them, values them, and uses them. You’re not forgotten. You matter. Your story matters.
The Lost still has value.
The coin didn’t lose its value because it was lost. In the same way, you don’t lose your value just because you’ve been dropped, hidden, or lost for a season. God’s love for you hasn’t changed, even if life has knocked you around.
God is actively searching.
-
- God brings light into your dark situation.
- She sweeps the house – He’s willing to stir things up to reach you. (Luke 15:8, NIV)
- She searches carefully – He’s not giving up until He finds you.
- You are not just someone in the crowd, you are the one He’s looking for today.
Heaven celebrates when you’re found.
When the woman finds the coin, she throws a party and celebrates with her neighbors. All of heaven breaks into joy. You may think you’re just one person, but your return to God is worth a party in Heaven.
