The Number 1 Relationship in Your Life

Every relationship depends on your relationship and fellowship with Christ.

(Psalm 127:1-2, NKJV, CEV)

Without the help of the Lord, you will be frustrated in your efforts and all activities will be rendered unsuccessful eventually. It takes the Lord to guard your relationships.

4 Insights about successful relationships.
  • Successful relationships will depend upon your relationship with Jesus.
  • Successful relationships will depend upon your continued relationship with Jesus.
  • Successful relationships focus on being the right person more than trying to change the other person.
  • Successful relationships get their security, love, and acceptance from God before they try to get it from the other person. (1 John 4:7-8, CEV)
Work can be worthless.

Worthless work is stressful and unsuccessful, while God’s work is satisfying and fulfilling. You will know which one you are doing by the life you are living. God is warning you not to spend all your time and energy working and volunteering for the wrong things that will not matter in heaven. (1 Corinthians 3:11-15, NKJV) Don’t burn out on earth for things that will simply be burned up in heaven.

The greatest success of all.

(Psalm 90:17, TEV; Matthew 6:33-34, NKJV; 3 John 1:4, NKJV; Psalm 126:5-6, NKJV)

There is nothing more rewarding and successful as furthering God’s Kingdom.
