The Secret Truth about All Problems

The condition of your heart greatly determines your actions, reactions, behavior, and joy in spite of your circumstances and situations. (Proverbs 4:23, NKJV)

If you have any issues in life, it’s really a heart issue. Hard hearts hurt others, humble hearts help others. Hard hearts live a hard life, humble hearts live a happy life. (Proverbs 28:14, MSG; Matthew 5:5, NCV)

Joy is greatly determined by the condition of your heart, not your circumstances and situations. (Proverbs 23:15, NKJV; Psalm 28:7, NIV) Wisdom helps the heart be wise. (Proverbs 4:7, TLB; Proverbs15:13, NKJV, NIV)

A happy heart changes our emotional circumstances. (Proverbs 17:22, NKJV) A happy heart changes our physical conditions. (Proverbs 15:15, TLB) Our outlook is greatly determined by the condition of our heart, not the circumstances and situations we are facing.

When our heart is not right, everything in life will look worse than it really is. When our heart is right and our spirit is full, everything will look better than it really is. (Proverbs 15:23, Webster’s Bible)

How to have a clean heart. (Ecclesiastes 8:1, NCV)

  • Ask God for it. (Psalm 51:10-12, NKJV)
  • Renew it.
  • Learn how to stay close to God’s presence. (Psalm 16:11, NKJV; Romans 5:20, NKJV)

The example of the Prodigal son:

He became aware of his sin and was willing to confess them to God and his father. He was willing to accept his father’s forgiveness. He was willing to leave the past in the past and not bring it to the future.

He was willing to get his priorities right where he could get his life right.
