Identity for Eternity

The timing of God. (Ephesians 1:9-23, NKJV; Ecclesiastes 3:1, NKJV)

God is in control of timing and it is always right. We can enjoy seasons, we can understand the timing of a clock, but we can’t understand God’s timing. All of God’s timing is sure and true.

God has secrets.

As God’s people, we are able to share in the secret that God will one day unite everything in Christ. We all become one united as Christ’s body at salvation. It is important to build your relationships upon the Lord. (Psalm 127:1-2, NKJV, CEV) Everything rises and falls on our relationship and fellowship with God, everything. (Ephesians 2:14, NKJV)

Sealed and safe.

The safest place in the world is not where you live, it’s who you live for. We obtain our inheritance at salvation, we are going to heaven, but we enjoy it as we live out our purpose. (Ephesians 1:11, NKJV) Enjoy your relationship with God more than the works you do.

God not only chose you, but sealed you with the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:12-14, NKJV) The Holy Spirit is a gift from God to us for His Son. You no longer have to have identity crisis because you are the bride of Christ and He is our Groom. (Hebrews 13:5-6, NKJV)
