The Cost of Being Courageous for Christ
What is a courageous Christian? (Luke 14:26-27, NKJV)
One who publicly and privately confesses their belief in Christ by their actions, deeds, and words. One whose public actions and identification with Christ produces or causes a reaction that is sometimes good or sometimes bad. Be courageous at church and in public.
The cost of being courageous for Christ. (Acts 5:40-42, NKJV)
We will never really live the abundant life God intended us to live until we determine what we are willing to die for. The devil wants you to suffer, worry, and get discouraged over self and the things of this world.
As we speak His name and connect with Jesus we get to experience the power and peace that can only come from Him. (John 14:6, NKJV; John 10:10, NKJV; John 16:33, NKJV) We are called by God to let everyone know Jesus is the only way to heaven, the only way to access God the Father, and the only way to have the abundant life. (Matthew 5:10, NKJV, CEV)
The price of not being courageous is confusion and fighting. (Luke 14:26-27, NKJV; Genesis 2:18, NKJV; Genesis 2:21-25, NKJV)
Satan’s goal is to always bring division between you and God and between you and those you love.
Steps to take to avoid division.
- Come to church together.
- Make sure you tithe. (Matthew 6:21, KJV)
- (Acts 20:35b, NKJV)
- Read God’s Word and Learn to Claim His promises.
- Confess sine and ask those you hurt to forgive you.
