Achieve a Blessed Life
What do you consider to be the blessed life?
Would it include riches and fame? Health and wealth? Having lots of children or no children? Own your own business or getting out of business? Travel whenever and wherever you wanted?
What the Bible says about the blessed life:
(Ecclesiastes 5:18-20, CEV)
God intends for you to work and enjoy what you earn. If you’re not working hard, you won’t have enough to enjoy. Your job is to go to work and look for those in need. (1 Corinthians 10:31-33, CEV; Matthew 20:25-28, NCV; Matthew 10:39, NKJV)
If you put God first, don’t feel guilty for enjoying what He has given you. (Ecclesiastes 5:19-20, CEV) You were created to work; the key is learning how to enjoy it. (Genesis 2:7-9, NCV; Genesis 2:15, NKJV) One of the keys in learning to enjoy work and life is to remember that life is short. (James 4:13-15, NKJV)
Because life is so short, we need to learn to live the blessed life and to live it God’s way.
“Is what I am doing God’s will?”“Do I understand my mission and purpose in life?” (1 Corinthians 10:31-33, CEV)
What desire brings the blessed life?
(Ecclesiastes 5:10-12, CEV)
The right relationship with Jesus will bring the blessed life, which God wants us to enjoy. (Ecclesiastes 9:7-10, NCV)
- Enjoy and drink.
- Enjoy dressing up.
- Enjoy your wife. (Proverbs 5:18-19, TLB)
- Enjoy your work. (Psalm 128:1-2, NCV)
