Journey Church Game Plan

Ashley Ruggles Story

Feb 15, 2021

Before her husband was diagnosed with cancer, Ashley Ruggles talks about their marriage being shaken to the core.

Ashley encourages us to put complete faith in God and to know that He has a purpose. God will bring you through any problem.

Remember that there is no perfect marriage. No matter what you see on the outside, people can be struggling on the inside.

When we do life together, it makes us stronger.

The Hidden Enemy: Selfish Desires and Their Consequences

Self-centered desires are the main source of conflicts, arguments, and fractured relationships. These desires can be concealed and often spark disputes. Regular self-reflection is essential to recognize and address these selfish inclinations. It’s important to refrain from slander and gossip, as they have the power to either uplift or harm others. The Woman Who Gave It All

To be effective servants of the Lord, we must cultivate a deep trust in Him that surpasses our focus on our circumstances or intimidation by our perceived lack. Instead, let our attention be firmly fixed on Him. This service is beautifully expressed through a willing heart, limitless love, unwavering faithfulness even in the smallest tasks, and a persistent trust in God.

Hope In the Dark

Sunrise Service | Hope in the Dark God is still working in the dark. (Luke 24:1-8, NIV) While the women were crying, God was already resurrecting. God does His greatest work in the dark. In the dark womb, life begins. In the dark tomb, resurrection began. The stone...

Pray for Rain

Pray for Rain

James highlights the power of prayer through the example of Elijah. Elijah was a human just like us, yet when he prayed earnestly for no rain, there was no rain for three and a half years. When he prayed again, the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. Fervent, righteous prayer can have powerful results, demonstrating God’s ability to intervene through prayer.
