Full or Fail
How to have your real needs met. (Psalm 23:1, 5, NKJV)
The Lord has the table prepared. He prepared it to protect, provide, and guide.
We have a Shepherd who prepared a table for us and He is waiting.
There is no one greater or stronger than Him, so what’s the problem? The problem is we are too busy.
We are allowing the wrong people, like the devil, to sit at the table with us. Many are choosing fast food over feasting with the Father.
How do you fill your cup?
Be still. (Psalm 46:10, NKJV)
Find a quiet place. (Matthew 6:6, MSG)
Solitude, not isolation.
Jesus is our example. (Luke 6:12-13, NIV; Matthew 14:23, NIV; Luke 5:15-16, NIV)
Before a major decision, Jesus went to be alone with God. You cannot pour out of an empty cup without feeling depleted. You have to be still in a quiet place. You have time for what you choose to have time for.
Make excuses or make time for intimacy with God. If you want your cup to run over, you have to be consistent and intentional.
Consistent + Intentional time with God = you being full and God being the Shepherd and provider of all your needs. (Psalm 23:1, NIV)
