Raising an Army: Recap
The Lord is a Man of war.
(Joshua 1:9, NKJV; Luke 19:10, NIV; Mark 10:45, NKJV; Exodus 15:3, NKJV)
The Lord is a warrior, not a wimp. God is looking for warriors to join His army.
God is good even when we are bad.
When our behavior is right (our purpose) God is still good, and we get to enjoy it. God is good to you, if you are not enjoying it, it’s because of your wrong behavior. Stop fighting against God and start fighting with God.
Having a generous heart is so important.
Generosity is a principal of God. (John 3:16-17, NKJV) Generosity brings prosperity. (Proverbs 11:24-25, TPT) God is generous with IT. (Luke 6:38, NKJV) Generosity means readiness in giving.
An army through hospitality.
(Luke 7:34, NKJV)
Hospitality is friendly reception and treatment of strangers. Hospitality turns strangers into friends. (Ephesians 2:12-13, KJV; John 15:3, NKJV; 3 John 1:8, NIV, Weymouth New Testament)
The lifestyle of being in God’s army.
Obey God’s command. (Joshua 1:9, NKJV) Remember what your purpose in life is; To seek, serve and save those who are lost. (Luke 19:10, NIV; Mark 10:45, NKJV) Develop a lifestyle of generosity. (John 3:16, NKJV) Obey God’s command to be hospitable.
