Purpose that Leads to Passion, Power, & Peace
What is passion?
Passion is an intense urgency to accomplish your God-given calling. Passion is the main difference between success and failure. Passion gives a person a reason to live and something worth dying for. (Colossians 3:23, NKJV)
Godly passion is the only passion that will last. (Proverbs 4:23, NLT2, GW) Godly passion is an inward desire ignited by a clean heart which gives an exciting desire, drive, passion and obsession to live out God’s plan for your life, the life God created you for.
When you are living out the life you were created for, it will lead to passion, power, and peace.
What is your purpose?
Purpose is more a lifestyle than a position or a place. (Colossians 3:23-25, NIV) Whatever you do, your purpose is to do it with all your heart; you can’t do it with all your heart without having a clean heart. You will have to live your purpose out through some suffering and pain.
The true purpose of pain and suffering:
Because of sin and the fall of man. God uses it to build character that will lead to us caring for others. Teaches us to trust God. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, NKJV; 2 Corinthians 1:9-11, CEV)
Your purpose is:
Love the Lord because He first loved us. (Matthew 22:37-40, NKJV) Love your neighbors, serve God by serving others. Good works; Good works are a believer’s love offering to God. (Ephesians 5:2, NKJV; Ephesians 2:10, AMP)
