Memory Verse

Matthew 28:6

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.”

Main Point

God loves us. He wants to have a good relationship with us. He sent Jesus to die for us and take away our sin. Jesus rose from the dead.

This is happiness.

This is good news.

This is Easter.

Overview

1st Point – While Jesus was alive He performed many miracles. He knew

that He was going to die and He prayed for us because He knew that what

was about to happen was making a way for us.

2nd Point – Jesus was crucified on a cross but He returned and gave us

instructions about how to live. Now we get to be the house for the Holy

Spirit to live in!

3rd Point – We celebrate today on Easter because Christ is alive!
