- The call–something got his attention.
- Answer the call–it was not his ability but his availability.
- Confirmation of the calling.(Exodus 4:18-23,NKJV)
Moses requested Jethro to“please let me go.” Moses explained why. Jethro not only gave him permission, but gave Moses his blessings. (Proverbs 16:7,NKJV) You want the blessings of God, and then get the blessings of those overyou.(1 Peter 2:13-14,NLT2; Hebrews 13:17,NKJV, MSG; Exodus 4:19)
The truth about opposition.
God allowed pharaoh’s heart to remain hardened to fulfill His purpose while demonstrating His power. God allowed pharaoh’s heart to remain hardened to reveal His glory, God alone should be worshiped. (Matthew 4:10,NIV; Isaiah 42:8,NIV) The devil is a liar and there is nothing greater or more powerful than our Lord.
