Stretch Your Faith

Daring Faith is to stretch your faith. (Hebrews 11:1, 6-8 NKJV)

I dare you to invite and bring someone to church. (Matthew 10:32-33, NKJV)

I dare you to pray for someone who is lost or out of church. (Matthew 18:12-14, NKJV)

I dare you to pray and ask God for the impossible in your life. (Matthew 17:20-21, NKJV; Mark 10:27, NKJV)

I dare you to visit or start a small group for 6 weeks. (Acts 2:42-44, NKJV; Psalm 92:13-14, NKJV)

Faith is seeing from God’s point of view.

Faith is not desire. Faith is not pretending that something is true that isn’t true. Faith is not a feeling. Faith is not bargaining with God. (Hebrews 11:1, NKJV)

Faith is learning to see things from God’s point of view and having His vision. (Ephesians 1:18, NLT2; NKJV; Genesis 21:15-19, NLT2; Numbers 14:6-10, NKJV)

What happens when you see with eyes of fear?

You exaggerate difficulties and problems. (Numbers 13:27-28, NKJV) You underestimate your abilities. (Numbers 13:33, NKJV) You get discouraged. (Numbers 14:1, NKJV) You start to gripe about life. (Numbers 14:2, NKJV) You eventually give up and blame God. (Numbers 14:3, NKJV)

What happens when you see with eyes of faith?

Faith shrinks your problems. (Genesis 18:14, NKJV; Luke 1:37, NKJV; Psalm 55:22, NLT2) Faith opens the door for a miracle. (Mark 11:23, NKJV; Matthew 13:58, NIV) Faith moves God to act on your behalf. (Matthew 9:29, NIV) Faith unlocks all the promises of God. (2 Corinthians 1:19-20, NIV)
