Respect is a lot like trust. Trust is earned by the right repeated behavior and choices over a long period of time. Relationships are not built on positions, but respect, trust, and biblical love. Honor those in authority. Romans 13:1-2,NKJV
How to know who to submit to:
Does it line up with God’s Word? God is the ultimate authority.
How wives can best submit to their husbands:
1. Show them respect.
2. Ask them the right questions.
3. Attend church together.
How husbands can lead their wives:
1. Take the initiative.
2. Leadership is influence, the best way to lead your wife is to lead.
Biblical submission happens when both husband and wife are under the headship of Christ. Ephesians 5:24-33
