How to Win Battles in Life

The hidden Battle.(Ephesians 6:12,NIV, CEV, TPT)

To win, you have to fight right. The winner is going to be the one who can see and know how to fight the enemy. Until you can see the invisible, you can’t experience the impossible.  It’s called the hidden battle because the devil wants us to fight each other while God wants to fight with us and for us. Fight those you cannot see physically, but know they are there spiritually.

How to fight: Sword & Seed. (Ephesians 6:17,NIV; Hebrews 4:12,KJAAE; Matthew 17:20,NIV)

God’s word and faith will overcome the battle.(James 4:7-8,CEV; 1 John 4:4,NKJV) You have the power in you to overcome, but you must activate it by faith and God’s word.

Signs you are in a spiritual battle:

  1. Unusual difficulties.
  2. Spiritual dryness.
  3. Unexplained conflict.
  4. Temptation.
  5. Discouragement & doubt.

Identifying the enemy:

  • The devil and his demons–spiritual forces of evil aiming to defeat God’s purposes.
  • Principalities and powers–higher spiritual entities that operate in rebellion against God.
  • Rulers of darkness–forces that influence and control worldly systems opposed to God.

Engaging in spiritual warfare:

  1. Prayer–communicate with God for strength and guidance.
  2. Scripture–use the word of God as a weapon and source of truth.
  3. Faith–hold on to your belief in God’s promises and power.
  4. Righteous living–live according to God’s standards to resist the enemy.
  5. Community–stand with other believers for mutual support and strength.

Dressed in stress.

When your major assault comes, you will need the strength of the Lord. Everything visible and physical is preceded that which is invisible and spiritual.
