Assemble in Love
We must use our gifts in love. (1 Corinthians 13:1-13, CEV)
Love does not equal joy; Only when we learn to communicate love. Does it equal joy. If you can preach the word, have great faith, and believe that God can do the impossible, but cannot do it in love then it’s worth nothing. God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:6-7, NKJV)
Understand what true love is.
Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, and proud. (1 Corinthians 13:4, CEV) Love isn’t selfish or quick-tempered. It’s doesn’t keep a record of wrongs that others do. Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. (1 Corinthians 13:6, CEV) Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. (1 Corinthians 13:7, CEV) Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:8, CEV)
Many of the gifts will stop, but love will last forever. (1 Corinthians 13:8b, CEV)
