Dare to Imagine: Dare to Imagine
Things you should never imagine.
Emptiness, evil, lust, revenge, and worry are a misuse of imagination. (Genesis 6:5-8, NLT2) The misuse of imagination will lead to physical and spiritual destruction. A great misuse of imagination is imagining that the wrong things will bring happiness. (2 Timothy 3:1-5, TEV)
Things you can’t imagine.
(1 John 3:2, TLB)
Your mind is too limited to imagine all God has for you. (1 Corinthians 2:9, TLB) You can’t imagine what it means for God to be for you. (Psalm 118:6-7, CEV; Romans 12:17-19, NCV) The Lord of hosts is over all the angels in heaven, you can’t imagine the power of just one angel. (Psalm 46:7, CEV, NKJV)
Things you should dream and imagine.
(Ephesians 3:20-21, NIV, MSG)
Dream and imagine what God can do through you and for you. Dream and imagine the power God has given you. (Ephesians 1:18-20, NIV)
Things you should imagine asking for.
(James 1:5, NIV)
God is generous, and you should be too. God wants to give you the wisdom needed to do His will. Faith is agreeing and believing God’s Word and committing to doing the things He’s called you to do even before you know what it is.
Why you don’t get what you need: (James 4:1-3, NCV)
- Selfishness.
- You don’t ask God.
- You ask for the wrong reason.
