The Purpose of the Group Leader Training (GLT) Process is to help people explore a possible call to be a Group Leader within your local church. It’s an open-hand opportunity to explore if a person is called to be a Group Leader without any obligation to lead a group while equipping them simultaneously.
TRAINING PROCESS
GLT Fast Track is a 3-week process in a small group setting where discussion is centered around what a Healthy Group is and is not, and how to lead a Healthy Group. Specific details on each of the 3 trainings are listed below with FAQs and a description:

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Anyone interested is welcome to go through the Group Leader Training Course to explore what God may be calling them to in service
WHEN DOES IT START?
Our first training begins Wednesday, March 19th
FREQUENCY?
Weekly for 3 weeks approx. 1 to 1.5 hours of Training on the topics listed below.
LENGTH?
3 Weeks Total
COMMITMENT?
Weekly meeting on Wednesdays for 3 weeks.
– In-Person 1-1.5 Hour Training which includes fellowship, watching a video and group discussion.
– Weekly take home reading
WHAT DAY/TIME DO YOU HOST THE TRAININGS?
Wednesdays @ 5:30PM in the Church Office Conference room.
MATERIALS?
You will need the Group Leader Training workbook, which we will provide.
TRAINING OVERVIEW
GLT #1 - March 19th
HEALTHY
GROUPS
The first training discusses what a Healthy Group is and is not. We also talk about what bearing the Gospel has on a healthy group.
GLT #2 - March 26th
FELLOWSHIP
The second training explores how a group fellowships to God and one another. Tools on how to help a group fellowship are provided.
GLT #3 - April 2nd
GROW
The third training examines how you can intentionally help disciples grow in groups. Growth assessment tools are provided.
