At jcCAMP, we are driven by the belief that every child deserves the chance to experience the joys and growth opportunities of summer camp. Our camp provides a nurturing space where children can explore, play, and learn without the pressures of the outside world. Here, they engage in a variety of fun activities designed to foster individual growth and team-building skills.

Our camp is more than just a place to have fun; it’s a place where friendships flourish in a safe, well-supervised environment. We offer every camper the opportunity to meet and connect with others, including forming a personal connection with God, right where they are. This spiritual aspect is tailored to bring them closer to understanding the universe and their place within it.

At jcCAMP, we welcome children from all backgrounds, regardless of where they live, their family’s financial situation, or their church affiliation. Every child is welcome, every church group is included, and together, we grow in spirit, friendship, and community. Register Your Child: If you have a child in 1st through 6th grade, you can sign them up for an unforgettable summer. jcCAMP is completely free and promises to be a life-changing experience for your child. Simply use the registration link below to get started.
Volunteer with Us: Join us in making a difference! If you’re inspired to be part of this incredible movement, please fill out our volunteer application form below. After submission, a member of our team will contact you to discuss how you can best contribute to our efforts.
Support Through Donations: While jcCAMP is free for all attendees, operating such an enriching program involves significant costs. We rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses to provide these memorable experiences, nutritious meals, and support our mission to empower the next generation in their faith journey. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all contributions are tax-deductible and go directly towards positively impacting the lives of children in our community. Questions?

What should my child wear?

Comfortable clothes that they can move in that you would not care if they got a little messy! Your kids will be outside running around, inside dancing, and even possibly a little foam party fun as well!

Will my kids need a towel?

There will not be any pools or swimming. However, weather permitting there is a Rec event that involves water. It might be a good idea for them to have a towel.

Does my child need to bring any money?

Everything on the schedule is completely free. That means all the Rec is free, the crafts are free, and the food is free! There will be an offering at the end of the day to support local ministry. This is completely optional, and would be the only thing that your child might want money for.

Camp Pastor

Meet Steven, affectionately known as “Big Steve” by all our campers! With over 15 years dedicated to vocational ministry, Big Steve brings a wealth of passion and expertise to our summer camp. A proud graduate of Liberty University, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies and a Master’s degree in Family Counseling.

At the heart of his journey is a remarkable story of growth—transforming a modest group of 12 children into a thriving community of 300 as a dedicated Children’s Pastor. Big Steve’s energy doesn’t stop there; he’s also an avid creator, writing engaging curriculum for children’s ministries and offering his wisdom to churches seeking to ignite or expand their programs for young ones.

When he’s not at camp making every day a new adventure, you can catch him producing fun and educational content on his kid-friendly YouTube channel. Above all, Big Steve is a devoted husband and a loving father, cherishing every moment with his family.

Camp Worship Leader

Meet Hope, our energetic and joyful worship leader at this year’s jcCAMP! Hailing from Pineville, Hope has been inspiring and leading worship for teens and children for over three years. With incredible musical and vocal talents gifted from God, she creates an uplifting atmosphere where kids can connect with their faith and grow spiritually.

When Hope isn’t guiding us in worship, she’s either kicking a soccer ball in a competitive match or spending quality time with her friends and family. Her infectious enthusiasm and love for worship make every moment at camp unforgettable. Get ready for an amazing summer with Hope leading the way!

Mike and Pat Scott

Camp Missionaries

Get ready, campers! We are super excited to introduce you to our special guest speakers for this summer, the dynamic duo, Mike and Pat Scott!

This pair has been joyfully hitched for 51 fabulous years and are the proud parents to four wonderful kids: Sherra, Shawn, Kassie, and Crissy. They stepped into the missionary world in 2004 and have since shared their love and the Gospel across the globe, calling India, Nepal, and Thailand their home over the years.

What do Mike and Pat adore about being missionaries? It’s all about the people! They cherish every moment spent with individuals from different walks of life, sharing in their stories and spreading the love of Jesus Christ. Their mission is fueled by their favorite Bible verse from 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV, which reminds us that, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

Their hearts are as big as their smiles, and they can’t wait to share fun stories, big laughs, and maybe a few happy tears with all of you at camp. So, let’s gear up for a summer filled with faith, fun, and friendship with Mike and Pat!
