We Love Cenla | Part 1

John 13:35, NKJV; Colossians 4:5, NCV

1st reason “We Love Cenla” is because we love Jesus.

Because we love Jesus we want others to know and love Jesus. (Luke 14:15-21, NKJV; Luke 14:15, NCV) Loving Jesus brings a blessed life which is God’s divine favor upon our lives. You can’t have a blessed life without Jesus in your life. (John 6:35, NKJV)

2nd reason we are having “We Love Cenla” is because Jesus wants us inviting others to come and be blessed.

We get to be a part of what Jesus wants to do here in Cenla; we are not responsible for the results but we are responsible for our part. Excuses to do what God has called us to do is nothing more than self-justification for failure and not to move forward in your life.

When you don’t know what real love looks and acts like you will often be drawn to the wrong type of love and get the wrong type of results. God is love and love can only come from God. (1 John 4:7, NCV; 1 John 4:4-10, NCV)

Three questions to ask:

Where are you trying to find love?

Where are those you know trying to find love?

Would you invite those around you to come and find true lasting love?

3rd reason we are having “We Love Cenls” is because it angers Jesus when others reject His invite.

We have a lot of hurting, helpless, and hopeless people in Cenla that need Jesus. There is not hurt that Jesus can’t help comfort. There is nothing to helpless that Jesus can’t often help. There is nothing to hopeless that Jesus can’t offer hope. Hope is the confident expectation of a positive future in spite of your present circumstances.

Our hope for a positive future rests on God’s purposes and resources, not ours. Hope is grounded in and comes alive from our relationship with Jesus Christ. Romans 5:5, NLT) God’s Word and promises are more powerful than our problems.

4th reason we are having “We Love Cenla” is because Jesus wants a full house and so do I.

Are you willing to commit today to be one of Jesus’ servants that will invite others to come to church and meet the Bread of Life?

Sermon Video Transcription

James Greer: 00:00 Man. Let’s welcome our Alexandria campus as well. Amen? Woo, man. I love this, we love Cenla. I love seeing our people all over Cenla serving people and giving people, I mean it’s just fantastic. But you know, the longer something exists, the easier it is to shift from the original intent and meaning and purpose. Now, that applies to the church. That’s one of the great things about we love Cenla. How we’re supposed to be out in minister and, and sharing and giving. It can apply to marriage. The longer your married, if you’re not careful, you’ll forget the original intent and purpose of your marriage. It can happen to your job. It can happen, it can happen. It could happen to anything. It happened to the disciples, which we’re going to look at.

James Greer: 00:45 It could happen to a credit card. I mean, I got a Sam’s credit card. Now, I don’t think you should get credit cards unless you are going to pay them off them, but they got this thing, they said, I’m going to give you 5% credit on all your gas. So, the only reason I get a Sam’s credit card, I’m going to get 5%. Well, I forgot the main reason I got the credit card. So, I sit out in the car this morning and I called them. I said, Hey, the reason I got this credit card. Do I have anything? They said, yeah, you got $1,000 credit that you never spent. That would be crazy to use the credit card and have $1,000 and never go spend it. Amen? So, come Monday, guess what I’m going to do? But the point was, the longer you have something, if you’re not careful, the easier it is to forget the original intent of that.

James Greer: 01:25 Yet, on the other hand, when you learned God’s purpose in a matter, then you get the power of God in that matter. When Jesus called the disciples, he said, follow me and I’ll make you fishermen of men, but we’re going to learn today in Luke chapter 14 and Luke chapter 15 they forgot their purpose. They forgot their calling. They forgot their intent and they lost their power. But, before we do that, I want us to look at, we love Cenla. I want us to remember what it is that we as the Journey Church members, anyone that comes in, anybody online. The love is more an action than emotion. We want to serve, we want to share, we want you to get into, be a part of a small group, whatever it is to be part of that. You can even pick up trash and post it. I mean, you can do it where you live, where you work, whatever. And then October the 20th are you all ready? Amen?

James Greer: 02:25 Thousands of these. Thousands of thousand. Thousands of these should have gone out in your neighborhood and you should have one. Amen? You should’ve gotten one in your bulletin. Guess what we want you to do with it? We want you to bring somebody with you next Sunday. Amen? So everybody bring at least one person, that’s part of we love Cenla. So next Sunday you bring somebody with you. Amen? Bring at least one person. And so, not only that, it’s going to make it easy because they’d be gone, probably 10,000, maybe 16,000, have gone all over Cenla and Alexandria.

James Greer: 03:20 So like I said, what we’re going to do is, we’ll look at Luke 9 and 10 and just a few minutes. But, what you’re going to find out is that the disciples had an identity crisis, and when you have an identity crisis, you become inward-focused. The title of a message could be focus factor. The right focus brings the favor and power of God. And we’re going to look later on in Luke chapter 10, when Jesus almost got fed up with the disciples. He said, well, what I’m going to do, I’m going to just go call regular people, and I am going to empower them. Because wrong focus will bring failure. Even if you’re a disciple. The disciples became inward focus and they lost their power and they lost their purpose. You ready? Sometimes, when you feel you’re missing the power and purpose of God, it could be because you became inward focus and you don’t even realize it. The disciples were with Jesus Christ in the flesh and they became inward focus, lost their power and didn’t even realize it. So, if it happened to the disciples, that could happen to me and you. Amen? I mean the right focus is of course, we always focus on Christ and what we feel about Christ, and then we become outward focused.

James Greer: 04:18 The wrong focus. When you become inward focus, you always had the wrong identity. Identity is a big problem. Identity is one of the number one problems in non-Christian and Christians alike. The wrong identity brings inflated egos or it brings issue problems. This, is what happened to the disciples in Luke 9, you’re going to see that they became inward focused, they had an identity problem and it resulted in inflated egos and issue problems. Inward focus and worst of all, you know the worst thing about it? They gave up their power to be called, to be equipped, and to be sent. That’s the worst thing about losing your identity. You give up your calling, you give up your power and you give up being sent. Let me read Luke 9:1-3 and then we’ll really get into the message. Then he, that’s Jesus. He called the 12 disciples together. Those people that he has spent his life with, the one he was sharing life with, and he gave them power. He gave them authority, he equipped them. Over all the devils to cure diseases. I mean, you do understand that when Jesus calls us, he equips us, and then he sent them to preach the kingdom of God.

James Greer: 06:08 I will tell you that, say the calling, and the equipping and the sending has not changed. Can I tell you something? You’re called, you’re equipped and you’re sent. You all ready? We’re called, we’re equipped and we’re sent. Are you all ready? Were called, were equipped and we’re sent. Hasn’t changed. It’s still the same thing. Now, the further we get away from it the more we forget it, but we’re still called. We’re called, we’re equipped we’re sent. And we’re quipped and sent to preach the kingdom of God and heal the sick. Man, I love it When I talk about the kingdom of God. When you found out the kingdom of God has come upon your life, your prayers are answered and fruit is produced. When your prayers were answered and fruit is produced, the kingdom of God has come upon that house. Every Sunday when I’m preaching, the power of the God and prayers get answered, and fruits produced, the kingdom of God has come upon this house. And they said to them, don’t take anything with you on the journey. Don’t take your staff. No bags, no bread, no money, nothing, not even tourniquet. Don’t take anything with you. Jesus said, listen, when I call you, when I equip you. When I send you, you don’t have to worry about anything else.

James Greer: 06:55 It’s kind of like the Matthew 6:33, seek ye 1st the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and I’ll take care of everything else. Do you understand what he’s saying? If you learn to get your ultimate source of anything and everything in your life comes from Jesus Christ, I’ll meet everything else in your life. Do you understand what he’s saying? He was telling the disciples then, he’s telling me and you today, I want to be your source of everything. I want you to learn to depend upon me when you need me, when you don’t need me, where I can meet everything. You know, I don’t want you to depend upon your money. I don’t want you to depend upon your job. I want you to depend upon me. And when you started to depend on everything else, I’ll let you see. You’ll be sorry. He said, I’ll bring you back to me.

James Greer: 07:50 So yeah, we love Cenla, because it keeps us refocused on what God calls us. See, they got to worried about who they were instead of what they were supposed to do. I want to read a verse that kind of pictures. What happens as a result of the kingdom of God coming upon your life, and it’s in James 5:16-18. I want to read it because if you said I just can’t picture the kingdom of God upon my life.

James Greer: 08:23 Because see, I think Matthew 6:33 is one of the most important. I’ve got to be careful, I say that all the time. I say Ephesians 3:20 is my favorite. Matthew 6:33 is one of the most important verses in the Bible to me, because I think if you can ever get it down, it says you don’t have to worry about anything and you don’t have to worry about tomorrow. You don’t have to worry about where you live. You don’t have to worry about your work, but it results in this. Confess your trespasses one to another. In other words, get right with God. Then pray for one another that you might be healed.

James Greer: 08:56 Did you understand when God said, I’m going to equip you. I’m going to call you. I’m going to equip you, and I will send you ,the kingdom of God will come and you shall be healed? Now he’s telling you, Oh, we’re in James 5:14 he says, I want you to pray one for another, I want you get right with each other, I want you to confess your sins one to another. Sometimes healing will not come. Mostly spiritually, will not come until you get right with God. Then he says, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. When you get right with God and you get right with other people, God starts answering your prayers. The kingdom of God comes. Then he says, let me give you a picture of what that looks like. He said, Elijah heals a man just like we were. He prayed earnestly that it wouldn’t rain. Guess what? It didn’t rain for three years and six months. That’s pretty powerful prayer. Amen? Then he prayed again and the heaven gave rain and the earth produced what?

James Greer: 09:54 What did it produce? Let me tell you how you know when the kingdom of God’s at hand in your life. Your prayers are being answered and fruit is being produced around your life. The kingdom of God has come upon your life. Now, let me tell you something. Let’s read it now. Let’s read it in the context where you understand better what the kingdom of God is. When you understand what Jesus was trying to get, the disciples do, he was trying to say, Hey disciples, you all have been with me. I want you to produce fruit. I want lives to be changed. You’re going to find out they didn’t do it. You know what he did? I’m going to call regular people. I’m going to start empowering them. Luke 9:1 he said, look, he called the 12 samples together and he gave them power and authority. He equipped them over the devils and to cure all diseases. Then verse two, and he sent them the priests, the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. So what did he do? He called them. He equipped them, and he sent them. Uh oh, what am I trying to get you to learn today? You are called, equipped, and sent. Amen? Okay, so now he just did this, right.

James Greer: 11:08 Let’s drop down to verse 38. Behold, there was a man, a company cried out saying, master, I beseech thee, Look upon my son. He’s my only son, and that’s what he said. And low, a spirit has taken him and suddenly he cries out and he tears him and he foams against him, and he is bruising him hardly, and it departed from him. In other words, you know, he said, I’ve assaulted disciples. Uh oh, I brought him to the disciples. I came to church to cast him out and they couldn’t do it. I mean, just a few verses for that. Jesus said, Hey man, I called you, I equipped you and I sent you. I gave you power over all the devils. Here’s a man. He brought his son to him and he said, now listen, I brought you to the disciples, he, I came to church. I came to the place of need. I needed my needs met and and Jesus, they couldn’t help me. They’re not doing the very thing that Jesus called them and equipped them to do. Of course, Jesus said, he brought later on, he says, he brings him to him and he takes care of it. Jesus had called them, he had equipped them, but they weren’t doing it.

James Greer: 11:56 Now, I understand sometimes we’ve got to miss it before we make it. I understand that, but these disciples weren’t doing what God had called them to do. The disciples are a picture of many people. You come into church Sunday after Sunday, after Sunday, but you know you don’t have any power. You know you don’t have the answers in your prayer. Maybe. Maybe you’ve come today and you just felt like, Hey, there’s no power in my life, and Jesus answered him, said, Oh, faithless and perverse generation. How long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer with you? Bring your son to me. You know what he’d be saying to Journey Church?] How long are you going to come to church? How long are you going to hear the word preached? How long are you going to understand that I called you? How long until you understand I’ve already equipped you? How long are you going to understand that I have sent you out. How long is it going to be?

James Greer: 13:19 See what was happening to the disciples. They had become inward focused. They were having an identity crisis. When you have an identity crisis, it brings confusion upon your life, you’ll see now. Now, see, first of all, they couldn’t cast out the demons. Amen? They couldn’t help the people that Jesus called them to help. See, Jesus has called you to help the hurting people. They might not be demon possess, but there’s a lot of people hurting. Amen.? Can I tell you something? You might not know it before the day’s over, God’s already equipped you with what you need to help them.

James Greer: 13:59 Drop down to verse 46 you’re not going to believe it. First of all, Jesus called them and equipped them. Listen, I’ll give you the power, right? A man brings his only son, he’s demon possessed and they can’t cast out the demon. Now, 46 says what’s going on with them, then there arose an argument and talking with them, which of us is the greatest? Do what? They had an identity crisis. See, they were worried about between themselves, who was the greatest? Listen to this. When you start trying to get your identity in yourself and those around you, you lose the power, because our power comes from Christ. People do it every single Sunday. They come to church and they said, why don’t I have the power? Why am I worried about so and so? Why didn’t I go to school? Why didn’t I go to work? Why didn’t I get my house? Why did I worry about what everybody else does? Why am I not the greatest? Why am I not the most important? Who should be running the operation? Who should be leading the church? Who should be leading the job, and see, you’re trying to get your identity by where you work or who you are, instead of with Christ, and you just lost the power of Christ in your life.

James Greer: 15:01 You know, they were arguing about who’s the greatest, who’s the most popular? They forgot who they were in Christ. When you forget who you are in Christ, you start trying to find your identity in somebody other than Christ. You begin to have issues and identity problems with those people closest to you. Now, what they should’ve been saying, nobody’s getting saved. No lives are being changed. I’ve done this before. I’ve gone to church before, years and years and years and no lives were being changed, nobody is getting saved, and we argue about what color the carpet is. Who’s leading the department? Who’s going to be in charge? I’ve done it before. I played church. I’ve been a part of that.

James Greer: 16:06 Today, even in our church, if we go very long and somebody didn’t get saved., We go to staff meeting and I said, man, we’ve got to get right with God. We’ve got to start checking our hearts. We have, we love Cenla, lives don’t get changed and people don’t get saved and prayers don’t get answered and man, we need to get our hearts right. It needs to started the 8:30 service. Amen? If your answered prayers aren’t getting answered, and lives aren’t being changed, and fruit is not in your life, check your life out. Amen? Don’t worry about somebody else. Worry about you. It makes a difference. The first sign that you’re missing who you are in Christ and you become inward focused. There’s no prayers being answered and there’s no fruit in your life.

James Greer: 16:40 It can happen. It can happen at church. It can happen in a department. It can happen in a staff and it definitely can happen in a family. You’ve become so distracted and so inward focus, you miss your calling. You miss the power. You miss your purpose. See, part of your identity in John 15:16 said, listen, I’ve already chosen you. I’ve already appointed you to bring forth fruit. That’s part of your identity. Okay, they could cast out the demon. Right? Now, they’re arguing about who’s the greatest. They’re having AN identity crisis, and when you have an identity crisis, you start looking to blame other people about what’s you are not doing.

James Greer: 17:21 Look, look at verse 49 and 50, you’re not going to believe this. John answered, said, master talking to Jesus. We saw somebody else casting out demons in your name and we forbid them. We told them to stop it because he wasn’t following you. He wasn’t one of us. Now, they were supposed to be doing it, because they weren’t doing it and somebody else was. They said, you see Jesus, there’s somebody else over there doing what we’re supposed to do. We told him to quit it. That’s just the way it is. I mean, somebody else doing what you’re supposed to do and it brings guilty on you.

James Greer: 17:50 Jesus, you tell them to stop it. And Jesus said to them, don’t tell them to stop. Is it not those who not with us, is for us. I mean he’s doing the very thing you should be doing. Listen, when we lose our identity, we lose our power. We lose our power. We blame other people for doing what they’re doing. Because we’re not doing it. I know people all the time who start blaming other people for doing what they’re doing because you should be doing it.

James Greer: 18:21 Listen when you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing, quit blaming other people. It was like saying, but they’re not the same denomination we are. Did you know, there was a time I thought you had to be a certain denomination or you didn’t go to heaven? Now I just believe you if you don’t go to Journey Church, you don’t go to heaven. Not really. There’s probably somebody else that goes here, I just don’t know who they are. Not, not really, but I mean, I really did. There was a time I thought if you weren’t a certain denomination and you didn’t read a certain book, I really thought. Oh my goodness gracious now know how stupid I was.

James Greer: 18:52 But that’s kind of what they were saying. They’re not part of our group. They’re not part of our class. They’re not part of our church. They’re not part of the what we’re doing. Tell them to stop it. Jesus. Jesus said, hey man, you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing, leave them alone. They are furthering the kingdom. You’re not going to believe what happened next. This is all true. This really happened. This is the people. This is what I want you to get. you all do understand this was Jesus disciples. These are the people that are spending their life with Jesus. If they could miss it, so can me and you. If they can miss it, we can come to church every single Sunday and miss what God called us to do. If they could miss the power and presence of God, if they could miss their equipping, if they could miss their calling, if they could miss their sending, so could we.

James Greer: 20:03 Look at this next one, you’re not going to believe it. And when one of the disciples said, James and John saw this, saw these other people doing what they were supposed to do. Lord. Okay, let’s command fire to come down from heaven on them. Let’s consume them like Elijah did. Jesus, we were witnesses, some of them, and they rejected us, so, let’s just kill them. Do you understand what happens when you have a identity crisis? Do you understand the danger? Let me give you some dangers that happened to the disciples and similar dangers that happens to us. When you lose your identity, number one, you lose your power. So, do you feel like maybe you’ve lost your power because you’ve tried to find your identity in something else? It can be your job, it can be your mate, it can be position.

James Greer: 20:50 You ready? Sometimes God removes what we’re finding our identity in, where we have to find our identity in him. I was on a cruise when Charles Stanley lost everything he had. He lost his wife, he lost his home, he lost his furniture and he came back in and he said, I’ve always said, I never knew I was going to truly depend upon Christ until I didn’t have anything but Christ. He said, now I will. Some of you here today need to say, Hey, I need to go back. I need to find my identity in Christ. When I find my identity in Christ, I’m going to find a new power. Either, I’ve never had it or that it used to have, and I want to have it back. If you don’t know who you are in Christ and you need one of the brochures, let Sharon know and she’ll be glad to give you one, or she’ll email you one. I still have it. I have it in the front of my Bible. I still go over it every, almost every Sunday. You’ve got to know who you are in Christ, not just by talking about it.

James Greer: 22:03 Second, when we lose our identity, we blame others for our problems. Well, let me ask you something. If you really know who you are in Christ, you ready? Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Yes or no? Then, why would you blame somebody else for your problem, when you have Christ in the hope of glory on your side? See what I’m saying? When you lose your identity, you ready? You’ll either make fun, or more than that, you’ll look down on what other people are doing. And then worse than that, when you lose your identity, if you’re not careful, you’ll try to hurt people instead of love people.

James Greer: 22:45 Here’s the disciple, said, Jesus, maybe we’ll all call fire down on them and consume them. This is the disciples. They had forgot their calling, forgot their purpose, forgot their power. Jesus says, let me tell you something in verse 55, look what he says. He turned in, rebuked him and said, you know not what manner of spirit your of. This is so important. First of all, they lost their identity. Amen? When your spirit is not right, your power is not right. What he was saying, when we’re trying to get our spirit and our power from something else, it won’t happen. Listen, when our spirit has, when our spirit lines up with God’s spirit, then we have the power of God in our life.

James Greer: 23:46 When our spirit lines up with God’s spirit, we’re representative of Christ. When our spirit, the Holy spirit lines up with God’s spirit, only at those times, we say what Jesus would have said and we do what Jesus would have us to do. When we say what Jesus would have us say, and we do what Jesus would have us to do, we have the power of God upon our life. And we have the presence of God. And the kingdom of God is come in that situation. And what God said, you are now represented of me, and I want you to bring the kingdom of God only any in every situation that you can. Now, it doesn’t always happen, because my spirit and God’s spirit is not always lined up, but when it is, the power of God comes on that situation. Amen, brother James. That’s what he’s called me to do. That’s what he called you to do.

James Greer: 24:49 Then he says, verse 56 he tells us. Son of man, he said, I didn’t come to destroy men’s lives. I came to save them. To recover, to make whole, to heal, to save, to deliver, and to protect. See, if you know Jesus Christ, you will be saved. You’ll be saved in this life or the life to come. And then he said, we went to another village. I love that because if you got the drift, the disciples weren’t really doing what they were called to do. Amen? So Jesus says, the people weren’t getting saved, the disciples weren’t doing what they were supposed to do. I’m going to move on. Can I tell you something? That’s what you do. When some people aren’t getting saved and things aren’t happening, you still love the people. Just go to somebody else. This week, you’re going to invite people and you’re going to bring them to church next Sunday. Amen? Everybody is going to bring at least one person. Amen?

James Greer: 25:37 I invited one lady this week, I was so proud. It’s hard for me to find a friend, but anyway, she had called back and she said, what service do you want me to come to? I said, man, I don’t care. I’m just glad you’re coming. She said, can I bring somebody with me? I said, Oh, precious Jesus, yes. I may have two friends. No, not friends. Just 2 people coming. But anyway, everybody brings somebody. Amen? And if one doesn’t come, you just move on to somebody else. So, listen what Jesus did. You’re going to love this. Okay, Luke 10. We’ve got to move on, and we’ve got to move on, we don’t have much time. After these things, after what things? After disciples were doing what they were doing, after they didn’t have the power, after they didn’t have them equipped. After they didn’t answer their calling, he appointed 70 others. I love this because what Jesus said today, disciples, you’re not doing what you’re supposed to. I’m just call regular old people to do it past me and you. That’s what he ended up doing.

James Greer: 26:33 That’s what he did in the great commission. That’s what he did in Acts. That’s what we did in Matthew. He said, guess what? I call the disciples and I use them, but guess what? In the long run, I’m going to use regular people to do what I call them to do. And then I said, listen, I called him, he said, listen, 70 other 70 regular other people. What I do, I sent them. He called, he equipped, and he sent them by two by two. Before his face and to every place where he himself was about to go. Really what he’s saying, is he sent them by twos, the places I can’t be, everywhere, so I’m going to send ordinary people to go where I like to go, but I can’t go. You know what that means? You know what’s so great about, I love Cenla?

James Greer: 27:15 Jesus loves Cenla. But he said, I’m going to send Journey Church to go to Cenla, to show them Jesus. And I have equipped you, I’ve called you, and I’m going to send you. If this is almost like a commissioning service by Jesus Christ. He said, Journey church. I want you to bring the kingdom of God to Cenla. I want you to see answered prayers and I want to see fruit produced. He goes into verse two he said, man, don’t you know that the harvest is truly great. The laborers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest that he sent for his labor. Do you understand that? He’s saying, I’m going to send 70, but I need more. 2000 years ago he was saying, listen, raise up 70 in those 70 raise up 70 more than those 70 raise up 70 more. And 2,000 years ago he was praying for you and he is still today. He was praying that you would come about this time and that you would say, God would you let me empower you, let me equip you, and let me send you, and he’s still doing it today.

James Greer: 28:14 The harvest is plentiful, man. If you don’t see how plentiful the harvest is, it’s either because you’ve allowed Satan to blind you or you become so inward focus that you’re missing what Christ has for your life. See, Satan wants you to become inward focused, where you lose the power of God in your life. Did you know 2 Corinthians 5:20, do you know what it says? It’s nailed in. Now, that means, I want you to understand something. We are ambassadors for Christ. You’re a representative of Christ as though God were pleading through us. We implore you now that Christ’s behalf be reconciled to God. Did you know you’re now ambassadors? Did you know that you’re now a reconciler? You’re a representative of Christ. You can reach people now that others can’t. Some of you all can reach people in your job that nobody else can. Some of you can reach people. Some of the CR people can reach people that others can’t. There’s mothers of addicted kids. You can reach other mothers. Man, we can go in the homes and we can go on the job. Everybody here, you can reach somebody that somebody else can’t.

James Greer: 29:11 Some of you have gone through some pains and heartaches and sorrows that nobody else has. And God says, listen, don’t waste the pain. Use it to help somebody else and bring them to Christ. Amen? God wants to use you. He says, listen, your past, your history doesn’t define your future and listen, you’re just some messenger boy or messenger girl. Listen, you’re equipped. You’re an ambassador for Christ and accept the calling. I wish I had time to tell you, in the 70 that returned with joy, they said, even the demons, Jesus, they were subjected. They, these people, they were bragging to Jesus about Jesus. Man, I want us to come back bragging about what Jesus did. Because of time, you know, I’ve got a close, I’ve got to close. Let me ask you something. Do you understand when you’re really doing what Jesus calls you, do the way Jesus calls you to do it, you lack nothing? He said, you don’t need to bring anything with you and I’m going to take care of you.

James Greer: 30:24 When is the last time you went to school, your job, your hobby, where it was as an ambassador, as a representative of Christ? I’m going to ask you today to accept that calling. I’m going to ask you today, would you say next week, I’ll do my very best to be a representative of Christ? I want to be sent. I want to be equipped. You’re already equipped with everything you need. You’ve got everything you need and that this week, tomorrow, today that you’ll be aware of who God puts in front of your life and you’ll minister them. You’ll pray with them. You have fruit in your life. You’ve got to answer the calling. You’ve got to stop being so inward focused. You’ve got to say, God, here I am, send me. And I plead with you to answer the calling today.

James Greer: 31:27 I know some of you are the ones that here that are hurting. God said, listen, I want to heal you. Some of that healing is so emotional and today God said, Hey, you’re not here by accident, you’re here by divine appointment. And God wants to minister to you. He wants your spirit, your Holy spirit to line up with his spirit where he can comfort you in a supernatural way. Some of you may be called to join the church. Maybe just follow through with baptism. Some of you would have to say, you know where they are. I’ve lost my purpose. I’ve lost my power. Feel like I hadn’t had any answered prayer and hadn’t had any power. I’ve come to church, but today I’m am going to settle my identity crisis. I’m going to find my identity in Christ. I’m going to quit blaming other people for my problems. I’m going to experience the new power and it’s going to start right here this morning, right now. Would you stand?

James Greer: 32:41 God, you’re such a great God. You’re an awesome God. You’re a powerful God that wants to share that power with each and every person here. Help us accept your calling. Let’s thank you for that. You’ve equipped us. Let us be sent starting today. Let’s bring others back with us where God, we can celebrate together and their lives would be changed too. God, I thank you for what you’ve already done. I thank what you’re going to do. God, whether to join the church, followed through with baptism, God, or just to accept the calling to be a representative, to be ambassador to you. I pray that we’d make that decision this morning. It’s in Christ’s name I pray. Amen.
