Unleashing Hope (Part 2)

Moses was able to lead the Israelites out of bondage but not into the promised land. (John 10:10, NKJV; Luke 15:14-19, TLB)

While in bondage, the pain became great enough to want to change. (Exodus 6:5-8, NKJV)

When you are weak, He is strong. Submit, surrender, and commit to God.

The Israelites were afraid of the pain they might have to face for the gain they would receive.

There is no great gain, victory, change, or accomplishment without pain. The Israelites had the Grasshopper Syndrome. (Numbers 13:31-33, NKJV) When any Christian falsely believes, the problem is too big for them and for God. This results in living in fear instead of by faith. Causes you to look at the problem instead of God’s Promise.

The Israelites did not want to face the pain or the fight even when knowing God said that He would give them victory. (Psalm 119:11, NKJV)

The Israelites saw God work miracles but they did not hide everything God was doing in their hearts, all they wanted was another miracle and no pain. Hiding God’s word in your heart is work, but that’s how you defeat the devil. (Exodus 14:11, NKJV; Exodus 15:24-25, NKJV; Exodus 16:2-5, NKJV)

Salvation is free. (Ephesians 2:8-10, NKJV, AMP)

We are saved by grace, but we are saved to do good works. It’s the good works that can bring pain and gain.

The Christian life is painful but fruitful.
