Breaking Up is Hard to Do | Comparative and Acceptable Hatred

God has to be our number 1 and our mate our number 2. (Matthew 22:37-39, NKJV; Matthew 19:5-6, NKJV)

Our Priorities determine our Blessings, our Direction, and our Destiny. (Matthew 6:33-34, NKJV)

The Importance of a Vow. (Ecclesiastes 5:4-6, NKJV)

God is a jealous God. (Exodus 34:14; Websterā€™s Bible)

Understand the Truth about Love vs. Lust.

  • Eros Love (Sexual love)
  • Phileo Love – (Friendship love)
  • Agape Love – (Godly love)

Truth about acceptable hatred or comparative hatred. (Luke 14:26, NKJV)

To be a disciple takes discipline, and that discipline leads to a significance and satisfaction that cannot be found in any other place. There is an acceptable hatred that comes when we love and serve God that brings a significance and satisfaction. Your discipline shows your discipleship, your discipleship shows your love, not your words.

When we learn to hate comparatively, the results are beyond imagination and blessings beyond our comprehension. (Ephesians 3:17-21, NKJV, AMPC) Why does Jesus want us to hate our father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, and our own life? (Luke 14:26, NKJV)

Jesus wants us to receive a double blessing thatā€™s beyond our comprehension and imagination. (Matthew 19:29, NKJV)

This is not active hate, but comparative hate. Comparative hatred is acceptable hatred. We are not to actively hate anyone. (Matthew 5:43-45, NKJV)

If you are spiritually healthy, you donā€™t hate people and will want to help others.

Hurting people, hurt people. Insecure people need attention and reassurance. Healthy people want to help people. Insignificant and unsatisfied people are selfish people and seldom serve others. (Matthew 25:35-40, ESV; Galatians 5:13, ISV)
