Messed Up Relationship

Why did this Christmas look messed up? (Matthew 1:18-25, NKJV)

Mary was engaged to a just man; the reason their relationship went from what looked messed up to a miracle is because she was in a relationship with the right type of man. (2 Corinthians 6:14, NKJV) Things are not always what they look like; many times, what we see as a mess is nothing more than God trying to set us up for a miracle. (Romans 8:28, NKJV; Matthew 17:20, NKJV)

How we respond to what looks like a mess will greatly determine the outcome; if you are in a mess the best thing you can do is commit to allowing God to handle it. (Romans12:19, NKJV)

How did they get out of the mess? (Matthew 1:20-25, NKJV)

The first step to getting out of a mess is getting right with God. (Proverbs 28:13, NKJV)

Because Joseph was a just man, he was able and willing to hear from God. Confession means to own up to being guilty of an offense; acknowledge and plead guilty to an offense.

We need to confess and forsake our sin that we may prosper. Repentance without restitution is not genuine or complete. Genuine repentance leads to restitution. Right confession and repentance leads to God’s Mercy, Power, and Freedom. (Deliverance)

Don’t be afraid to do what God’s Word says, even if it does not make sense to you. (Romans 12:20-21, NKJV)

Be willing to wait on God’s timing to show forth His power. (Wait upon the Lord) (Matthew 1:25, NKJV; Psalm 38:9, NKJV; Isaiah 40:31, NKJV; Jeremiah 14:22, TLB)

Stop looking to people and things for what only God can give you! We must BE STILL long enough to refocus on God Who has the power to handle our problems. (Psalm 46:10-11, NKJV; Psalm 46:10-11, CEV) The Lord of Host is with us; He will take our mess and turn it into a Miracle, we must learn to wait upon the Lord.
